1. Website hosting and delivery

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses, request metadata, browser information, timestamps, and security events to deliver the website, maintain availability, and protect against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

2. Contact form and inquiries

If you submit the contact form, we process the data you provide, such as name, email address, company details if provided, message content, and technical metadata needed to submit and secure the form. We use Web3Forms to receive form submissions.

We process this data to respond to your inquiry, prepare or perform business relationships, and maintain general business communication. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or customer inquiries and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general business communication.

3. Spam protection with hCaptcha

The contact form uses hCaptcha through the Web3Forms client script to protect the form from spam and abuse. hCaptcha may process technical data, including IP address, browser and device information, and interaction data needed to distinguish human users from automated submissions. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form and website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Fonts and embedded resources

This site loads Google Fonts from Google servers. When the fonts are requested, Google may receive technical request data such as your IP address and browser metadata. The website also contains a local iframe for an interactive chart; that chart loads Plotly from cdn.plot.ly only inside the chart page.

5. Analytics, cookies, and storage

We do not currently load non-essential analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies on this website. No Plausible, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Umami, or Cloudflare Web Analytics script is loaded.

The site uses small first-party JavaScript for navigation and app-link prefetching. These scripts do not set cookies and do not use localStorage or sessionStorage. hCaptcha or other form security providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to protect the contact form from abuse.

6. Recipients and processors

We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the website, receive inquiries, provide security, and deliver technical infrastructure. Current providers include Cloudflare, Web3Forms, hCaptcha, Google Fonts, and Plotly CDN for the local chart page.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on the provider's applicable transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or comparable mechanisms.

8. Storage period

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the inquiry, business relationship, website security, or legal retention obligations. Contact submissions are retained for business follow-up and then deleted when no longer needed.

9. Your rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
